Home Theater Reviews
We've been home theater enthusiasts for a long time, and have been right there as DVD was introduced, and again when Blu-Ray was introduced, and then again when 4K Blu-Ray was introduced. We've covered the emerging standards for content and televisions regularly on our Tech News page, so feel free to get caught up there if you're interested.
Over time, we're going to building up our coverage of HT products, and have a particular interest in 4K UHD content, which is the first true revolution in image quality since we moved from 480p to 1080p. Alas, we think the best way to enjoy such content is through the use of stand-along players, in part due to content copy protection schemes put in place by various entities in the industry, but also in part due to the streamlined nature of dedicated players.
