ProsTruly offers unmatched cooling for compact systems that can't fit standard tower coolers
ConsWay too loud, needs a fan upgrade!
Here at TBG, we have a thing for coolers. In fact, at this point, we've tested more coolers than any other PC component, with nearly 50 under our belt. That means we have a very good sense of what the best models are, and more importantly, where they are best put to use. And that's what this review is all about: finding the best combination of components to achieve greatness!
In our last CPU roundup, the Corsair Hydro H60, which is being reviewed again here, didn't do all that well. But in that test, it was up against tower coolers, and honestly, it just doesn't have the grunt to take on the best. But where we thought it would have promise is in compact systems that typically require low-profile coolers.
And guess what... we were right! Watch the video below to learn more, including our tip for reducing the noise from this rowdy cooler!

So, the H60 easily beat every low-profile cooler on the market, including the best-of-breed NH-L12S, but it was darn loud while doing it. In our testing, we found that we could achieve the same performance at far lower noise levels, on par with the best air coolers, by upgrading the H60 with the Noctua NF-A12x25, the best 120mm fan on the market. Now there's your perfect setup!
