Introduction

Here at TBG, we’ve tested a bunch of mice through the years, from just about every manufacturer: Logitech, Roccat, Razer, EVGA, Cherry, and yes, Corsair. While we’ve absolutely loved the keyboards and headsets Corsair has delivered, the mice have never blown us away. Well, that all changes with the release of the Dark Core RGB Pro.

Special thanks to Corsair for providing a review sample of the Dark Core RGB Pro.

The Test

As with all of our reviews at this point and going forward, this review appears exclusively on YouTube, which you can see below. Not only do we show you what comes in the box, we also go into detail on why this mouse rocks when it comes to performance, aesthetics, and comfort!

Final Thoughts

Based on our results, there is clearly only one way we can possibly conclude: this thing is amazing! Corsair has done its homework and come out swinging with this completely redesigned version of the Dark Core mouse. It’s not just the best mouse Corsair has ever released, it’s among the very best gaming mice on the market.

So, with that said, we can absolutely recommend the Dark Core RGB Pro – it’s a steal at $80! Also available is the “SE” version, adding Qi charging capability. It’s selling for $90 through Amazon. Either way, the Dark Core RGB Pro is clearly the best gaming mouse under $100, and quite possibly the best all-around mouse ever released. It’s so good that we’re swapping out our $150 Logitech G502 Lightspeed for it!

Of course, we’ll be adding Dark Core RGB Pro to our Keyboard and Mouse Buyer’s Guide. While that guide is updated quarterly, we expect the Dark Core to stick around our “best of” list for a very long time – we honestly don’t see anyone being able to beat it any time soon!
