MO-RA3-420 has found a new use.
« on: August 12, 2015, 11:32:16 AM »
Since last year I have sold the 3930k setup that used the MO RA3-420 but the MO-RA3 stayed. I built a 5960x rig in a Thermaltake  Core X9 case with an EK Supremacy EVO block for the cpu running at 4.4Ghz, an EK TitanX block for the EVGA GTX980TI SC and 2 500gig Samsung 850 ssds in Raid 0. I have it all cooled using 3 XSPC RX480 radiators with a XSPC dual bay twin D-5 pump combo.

My second rig was a 3770k with 2 R9 290s. I decided to water cool the second rig and change the mb/cpu. The MO-RA3 was back in service.

I have an Asus Maximus VII Hero mb with a 4790k OC'd to 4.7 Ghz cooled by an EK Supremacy MX block, 2 Sapphire Tri-X 290s in CF with each cooled by an EK water block. I'm using a Swiftech MCP 35X pump/tube res combo and am using my external MO-RA3-420 rad.

Both the 5960x and the 4790k are using Win 10-64.
Pictures to follow.

I have an Asus Maximus VII Hero mb with a 4790k OC'd to 4.6 Ghz cooled by an EK Supremacy MX block, 2 Sapphire Tri-X 290s in CF with each cooled by an EK water block. I'm using a Swiftech MCP 35X pump/tube res combo and am using my external MO-RA3-420 rad.

Can't wait to see the photos. These are some pretty "pro" setups, so I'll definitely point people to this thread if they're interested in setting up some custom loops.
