That will work fine. But if it's the early AHCI version of the SM951, rather than the NVMe, note that not all motherboards will recognize it.

How do I establish which version it is? But are you saying this particular motherboard will work regardless of which version it is?

Model number starts with HPV for AHCI, and VPV for NVMe.
