Thanks,
Question do you have link to follow before I order stuff?
Can you post link to the same items for amazon?

Since you don't mention anything regarding the GPU I assume to keep the same one.
Can you post some good fans to use on the top 140 or 120.

From now on I will edit the list to eliminate the links.

And sometimes I see CPU cooler with high TDP but it seem they perform bad, do you know why is that.

Thanks.

Sure, here's a complete set of Amazon links to all the products I'd recommend for your build:

1) CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 - $295
2) Motherboard: ASRock AB350 GAMING-ITX/AC - $125
3) Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Mini - $414
4) RAM: Ballistix Sport LT 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR4 2666 - $139
5) SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB - $150
6) Case: Fractal Design Core 500 - $60
7) Power Supply: Seasonic Focus 550FX - $80
8 ) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4 - $60
9) Case Fan: Noctua NF-A14 PWM - $22
10) OS: Windows 10 Flash Drive - $110

Total price is $1,455 with Windows. There are a few things to note here. First, memory prices are going up almost every day, and I no longer recommend DDR4-3000 for a Ryzen system. It's too expensive, and can't be run at its full speed anyway. The Ballistix DDR4-2666 kit above is a lot cheaper, and is even lower-profile than Corsair Vengeance LPX, so you'll have no problem fitting components in the system. As you requested, I've included a fan in the build list - Noctua's excellent 140mm model. Just keep in mind that you cannot fit a fan above a tower cooler, so this fan will only fit in the top-forward position, not the top-rear position, and for that reason in should be mounted as an intake, not an exhaust. Also note that you can subtract the $110 price of Windows 10 if you already have a copy.

As for your question on CPU coolers, you can't rely only on the TDP ratings. This indicates what they are "approved" for, and the manufacturers determine this on their own. That's why TBG does so much CPU cooler testing. In fact, we have a Ryzen cooler roundup in the works, and several unreleased coolers will be featured in the article, which should appear in about a month. Probably too late for your purposes, but don't worry - the Noctua cooler listed above is actually one of the ones that will be competing in the roundup!

I dint realized it went to page 2.

Question going back to the RAM QVL, It seem those wont work according to this page

Sorry, this part is not compatible. view compatible parts
Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac check another system.

It seem that the 3000mhz would run at 2933,  some $ is wasted as it wont give full 3000mhz
Note6: Each RAM whose frequency is 3000 will downgrade to 2933 with Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac.

Also I was leaning more towards the SFX PSU to have that extra space or would you still recommend the Focus 550 FX?

was not aware cant use 2 case fans due to the CPU cooler.
good thing you mention windows, I am not even sure how to install it I dont plan on buying a DVD drive.

thanks.

Use the motherboard's QVL list, not the Crucial memory finder, which is badly out-of-date.

Ryzen can at this point use just about any DDR4-2666 kit, but if you're concerned, you can go with the Ballistix Tactical kit, which is on the list.

Don't use an SFX power supply if you don't need to. The Focus 550 FX is superior for less money, and fits perfectly in the Core 500 case.

thanks, no problem I just got concerned after I got the message.
I will get the 1st one you posted the Ballistix Sport LT.

I guess I was just thinking of getting the SFX also if later on I decide to get another tiny case, but I guess I should stop thinking about that and just keep the core 500.

I be ordering today to hopefully have the part by Monday

Sounds good!

Now that you've settled on the parts, you can post in the Ultimate ITX PC Thread, which is all about builds in the Core 500 case.

I know this is an old thread I'm adding on to - but in my opinion I don't think the Core 500 can be bettered by the other two cases in terms of low noise, low temps and loading with goodies. My own build has the huge Noctua D15S cooling an delidded & overclocked i7-8700K along with an overclocked 1080ti blower GPU as well as 2xSSD's , an Optane 32GB accelerated 3TB Seagate Barracuda HDD and a Blu-Ray Writer - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/PbCbt6
