EK Predator 360 > will it fit in a Corsair 450D
« on: September 04, 2016, 10:17:54 AM »
Reconsidering my Corsair H100i v2 because at some point I will ALSO have to add water cooling to my video card. The EK Predator 360 although much more expensive, can be expanded.

So was wondering, will it fit in a Corsair 450D case?

Almost certainly not. In addition to being very long, it's extremely thick, and will interfere with motherboard heatsinks in most cases. Go with the Corsair 750D (US Link | Canada Link).

And by the way, EK has a case compatibility checker, available right here. The 750D is confirmed compatible.

Thanks. Wasn't aware of the checker. I can see many $expensive upgrades in my future:) Apparently the Predator 240 DOES fit in the 450d front mounted

Still, doubt the 240 would be sufficient for CPU AND GPU cooling....

And If I go SLI in the future?

If you'll be using one radiator for an eight-core gpu plus dual Titans, your should definitely go with the Predator 360 and the larger 750D case. Front mounting a liquid cooler is always second-best versus top mounting.
