Fantastic performance; awesome RGB effects; great ergonomics

Could use more grip on right side; bloated software suite; a bit heavy

Star Rating

One of the exciting things about being a product reviewer is the opportunity to test something completely new and different, truly novel concepts from daring companies that aren't afraid to throw caution to the wind. Well, that's what we've got today from Corsair, in the form of the iCUE Nexus, a touchscreen interface for the firm's iCUE software control suite. Its main audience is going to be heavy users of the iCUE software, i.e., anyone who enjoys customizing their Corsair-branded cooler, fan, and peripheral settings. But in offering nearly-unlimited system monitoring at a glance, the iCUE Nexus may also be of interest to those who just like to keep an eye on their system when they're in the middle of an intense match or a big render.

Special thanks to Corsair for providing a review sample of the iCUE Nexus.

The Test

As with all of our reviews at this point and going forward, this review appears exclusively on YouTube, which you can see below. Not only do we show you what comes in the box and how to set it up, we also go into detail on what you can do with it, and what we'd like to see in the future!

Final Thoughts

Based on our results, there is clearly going to be an audience for the Nexus, as it offers up a lot of monitoring and control options. We think a core audience will be those who have a Corsair RGB lighting setup, but one thing we didn't mention in the video is the potential to use this with the Commander Pro for fan control. That product is a bit older and perhaps less popular these days, but if you've made that investment already, you might just love the iCUE Nexus!

The Corsair iCUE Nexus is available from Amazon for $99.99.
